The Brazilian midfielder Denilson has said that he is not sure whether he still has a future at the Premier league club Arsenal. The 24-year-old is currently on loan at the Brazilian club São Paulo where he made his name as an youngster. He spent the last season on loan at the club, while he was keen to extend the loan spell into this season as well. He was granted his wish by the Premier league club without any second thoughts. He has no expressed his doubts whether he would ever return to Arsenal because he is keen to extend his stay at São Paulo on a permanent basis.

Denilson has said that he has a contract with São Paulo that will end in the summer. He has not made any decisions regarding his future and will be doing so only after the end of this current deal. He has also expressed his desire to sort out his future as soon as possible because it would help him focus on his football. Denilson became an Arsenal signing back in 2006 and was a first-team regular for a few seasons. However, he failed to get into the first-team in the season before last and has been on a downward spiral since then.

“I will see out my contract (with Sao Paulo ) which ends on June 30, 2013. But I don’t know what will happen after that. I hope my situation is solved quickly so I have nothing to worry about and so I can remain calm for the rest of the season,” said the midfielder. Arsenal have not expressed any possibility of getting the midfielder back to the club. It is thought that they will be interested in the possibility of negotiating a transfer fee for the midfielder in the summer.
