KLOPP EYES MARTINELLI, PRAISES ARSENAL

Traditions hardly change. In times of ruin, turmoil and uncertainty and in terms of peace, quiet and shine, the sun will always rise from the East and set in the West. Seasons will come and go. Only the actors will perish.

Unai Emery is wanted out of Arsenal. He has made a terrible job of proving to the Emirates how not much of big deal Arsene Wenger’s achievements are.

Winger was not known as a serial winner but one thing was clear: he was a builder. He may get it wrong with the likes of Denilson but that doesn’t mean that apart from Sir Alex Ferguson, the French man remains of the most iconic figures to grace the English game.

In the short time Emery has been at the club, youngsters have continued to shine. The latest being Gabriel Martinelli.

This is his break-out season in the Premier League and big fishers like Jurgen Klopp have already started preparing their net.

Following Arsenal’s 5-5 classic with Liverpool, the German has confessed that was the first time he is experiencing Martinelli’s brilliance first hand. The Brazilian scored twice and although the Gunners’ couldn’t overcome Liverpool, Klopp did not forget what he saw.

The Liverpool manager is also an admirer of youthful talent and he remains struck at how his own scouting team missed out on the Brazilian who few months ago was stringing it out at his country’s little outfit called Ituano. Praising Arsenal’s chief Edu for a job well done.

“He’s 18 years old, right? So our scouting department is all over the world and stuff like this, but I think Edu gets all the credit for that signing – he came from wherever.”

“He’s really unbelievable. So young, looks so mature already, is a proper threat. Yeah, he looks like a really decent player.”
